Anchorage Cottage is uniquely situated on the beauitful eastern shore of loch lomond, on the West Highland Way, halfway between Balmaha and Rowardennan and half a mile north of the Cashel Camping and Caravan Site.
The house commands magnificent views over the loch and islands to Luss on the western shore. The private garden has large elivated timber decked area, with seating from which guests can enjoy the breath taking scenery. There is also a private jetty on the foreshore (Dependent on Loch water levels), from which some guests fish or swim. Permits for fishing are available locally.
Ben Lomond (973m) is approximately 3.5 miles north and Conic Hill 3.5 miles south, each affording magnificent views of Loch Lomond and the sourrounding countryside.
From our location on the bonnie banks of Loch Lomond, Glasgow City Centre, Glasgow International Airport and Stirling are all approximately 30 miles away. The area is ideal as a central touring base.
